II. Product Features

· Robust Engineering Plastic Body: The housing is made of high-strength polycarbonate engineering plastic with anti-aging, UV resistance, and anti-corrosion properties. Lightweight yet impact-resistant, it is suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.

· Flexible Cable Entry: The closure features 9 cable ports - 1 oval port for uncut loop-through fiber cables and 8 circular ports (2 large, 6 small) for incoming and outgoing cables, supporting diameters from Φ7 mm to Φ26 mm.

· Stacked Splice Tray Design: Modular trays provide organized and expandable splicing. Each tray supports up to 24 cores, and the total capacity reaches 288 cores or 864 cores, depending on the model (GJS-M9/IFT-A1 or A2).

· PLC Splitter Compatibility: Integrated slots are designed for easy installation of 1:8 or 1:16 PLC splitters, enabling efficient signal distribution for FTTH or ODN solutions.

IV. Installation Guide

GJS-M9-JFT-A Dome Closure Installation

1. Fiber Cable Preparation

a) Loop-Through (Uncut) Cable:

Mark and strip the cable jacket for about 180 cm, or per project requirement.

Maintain the internal structure intact during stripping to protect loose tubes and fibers.

b) Break-Out (Cut) Cable:

Peel off approx. 120 cm of the outer jacket for both cable ends.

Carefully clean and retain the internal structure for splicing preparation.


2. Cable Port Installation

Note: Always clean the port areas and ensure sealing surfaces are dust-free.

a) Oval Port (Port 1):

Designed for mid-span or uncut cables.

Insert cable through the port, mount sealing parts in order, and tighten with screws.

b) Large Circular Ports (Ports 2–3):

Remove Φ51 mm sealant plugs, assemble sealing accessories around the cable, and secure using the provided wrench.

c) Small Circular Ports (Ports 4–9):

Remove Φ27 mm plugs, insert the cable with sealing rubber parts, and tighten with the nut.

3. Internal Cable Fixing

Lock cables in place with hose clamps at the base panel.

Fix the cable's reinforcing core using presser blocks and screws.

Gently route the fibers to the appropriate splice trays for fusion.

4. Fiber Splicing & Tray Management

Route the fiber into the splice trays in a clockwise or counterclockwise coil with a bending radius > 40 mm.

Perform fusion splicing as required. Use heat shrink sleeves for protection and insert them into the designated slots.

Fibers from PLC splitters should also be stored in the splice trays with adequate slack.

5. Closure Assembly

Place the main rubber sealing ring in the groove of the dome base.

Carefully align and place the dome cover on top of the base.

Use the mechanical sealing clamp (plastic band) to secure the cover. Ensure uniform tension and tightness.

6. Mounting Options

a) Wall Mounting

Secure the mounting tray to the closure's base using 4 screws.

Attach the L-brackets and use expansion bolts to fasten them directly to the wall.

b) Pole Mounting

Connect the arc pole clamp to the L-bracket.

Fix the structure to the pole using metal bands and tighten securely with bolts.
