2.2 Closure Composition

The GJS-H020 consists of the following main components:

Main Body (Housing) – Constructed from industrial-grade polycarbonate, the housing ensures excellent mechanical strength, weather resistance, and thermal stability.

Sealing System – Includes rubber sealing rings and gel-type sealing strips. Mechanical pressure and adhesive tape are applied for water/dust ingress protection.

Cable Entry Ports – Four round ports suitable for φ20 mm cables. Each port includes a removable rubber grommet for sealing when unused.

Splice Tray(s) – Typically 2–4 trays, each holding 12–24 splices, compatible with both heat shrink and mechanical splice sleeves.

Reinforced Cable Clamp – Internal bracket to secure cable strength members and relieve tension.


3. Tools Required for Installation

To properly install the GJS-H020 FOSC, the following standard fiber optic tools are needed (provided by the operator):

4. The Process of Installing FOSC
