I. Application
GJS-M3/RS-AS is a type of dome closure series, used for direct connection during optical fiber
transmission process, and provides joint connection protection.
II. Feature
·All performance indicators meet the requirements of the latest national standards.
·The outer box body is made of high-strength engineering plastics. It has features of light weight, high mechanical strength, anti-aging, strong corrosion resistance, lightning resistance, and long service life.
·There are 3 circular cable ports and 1 oval port; the oval port can be used for a cable loop through.
·Can be used for pole mounting, wall mounting, and underground. The box body adopts mechanical sealing, which is easy to install.
·Stacked structure splice tray and independent insulation grounding device make the optical fiber core configuration, expansion, and the cable grounding flexible, convenient, and safe
·Splicing tray is equipped with a slot for a 1:8 PLC splitter.

V. Installation
1. Optical cable stripping:
Loop through cable (unbroken cable)： mark the cut point of the sheath, strip about 180 cm or according to the relevant requirements.
Breaking cable: Peel off a pair of optical cables to be connected, remove the cable protective layer from the mark, peel off 120cm of sheath, and maintain the internal integrity.
2. Open the port: According to the requirement, use a saw to cut the cable port.
3. Put the heat-shrinkable tube on the peeled cable, and introduce it into the closure.
4. column, tightened and locked, and the docked fibers are introduced into the splice tray for splicing.
5. Wrap the junction between the optical cable and the heat shrink tube with tin foil to avoid overheating and damaging the cable. Heat the cable with a torch until the heat shrink tube is completely attached to the port. Wait till it cools naturally (note: when heating the oval port,
Separate the heat shrink tube with a dividing clip.
6. Cover installation
After the operation is completed, place a sealing ring in the groove of the base, put the cover on, and lock it with a plastic clamp.
