I. Application
GIS-M5/RS-AM Dome Closure is a member of the dome closure, used for the products' straight-through connection in the optical transmission process, and protects the joint connection.
II. Feature
·All performance indicators meet the requirements of the latest national standards
·The outer box body is made of high-strength engineering plastics. It has features of light weight, high mechanical strength, anti-aging, strong corrosion resistance, lightning resistance, and long service life.
·There are 4 circular cable ports and 1 oval port. The oval port can be used for a cable loop through.
·It can be used for pole, wall, and underground installation with good sealing performance.
·Stacked structure splice trays make the fiber core configuration flexible; the independent insulation grounding device makes it safe and easy to operate; the optical fiber core configuration, expansion, and the cable grounding are flexible, convenient and safe
·The splice tray has a special slot for a PLC splitter (1:8 or 1:16).

VI. Installation
1. Optical cable stripping:
Loop through cable (unbroken cable): mark the cut point of the sheath, strip about 180 cm or according to the relevant requirements.
Broken cable: Peel off a pair of optical cables to be connected, remove the cable protective layer from the mark, peel off 120cm of sheath, and maintain the internal integrity
2. Open the port: According to the requirement, use a saw to cut the cable port.
3. Put the heat-shrinkable tube on the peeled cable, and introduce it into the closure.
4. After the optical cable enters the box, lock it with a hose clamp, fix the reinforced column with a presser, and introduce the docked cables into the splicing tray for splicing.
5. Wrap the junction between the optical cable and the heat shrink tube with tin foil to avoid overheating and damaging the cable. Heat the cable with a torch until the heat shrink tube is completely attached to the port. Wait till it cools naturally (note: when heating the oval port, separate the heat shrink tube with a dividing clip)
6. Cover installation: After the operation is completed, place a sealing ring in the groove of the base, put the cover onand lock them with a plastic clamp.
7. Wall & pole mounting operation:
Wall mounting: Lock the box tightly with the hoop, and finally connect it to the wall with expansion bolts
Pole mounting: Use a pole connector to connect the box body to the column body with a hoop
