Engineered for performance in harsh outdoor environments, Spring Cold Shrink is widely used in telecom base stations, 5G towers, coaxial cable joints, fiber optic terminations, and other outdoor electrical or RF systems. It protects not just from moisture and water ingress, but also from UV rays, ozone, dust, fungus, acids, and alkalis.
Why Choose Cold Shrink Tubing?

No Heat, No Glue, No Tools
Unlike traditional heat shrink sleeves, cold shrink requires no heat gun, open flame, or adhesive. It is pre-expanded on a spiral plastic core that is simply pulled out at the time of installation. As the core is removed, the sleeve quickly contracts and conforms to the cable or connector beneath-hence the name "cold shrink."
Superior Environmental Sealing
Made of premium silicone rubber with mastic sealing, Spring Cold Shrink meets IP68 waterproof rating, providing long-term sealing in the most demanding environments such as rooftop antennas, underground cable trenches, and coastal or industrial areas.

High Shrink Ratio & Tight Fit
With a shrink ratio greater than 3:1, Spring Cold Shrink Tube tightly hugs the cable, eliminating gaps and ensuring a firm, secure fit. It not only blocks moisture but also offers vibration damping, helping prevent loosening of connectors over time.
Flexible, Tear-Resistant & UV-Stable
Spring Cold Shrink is engineered to withstand extreme mechanical and weather conditions. It remains flexible from -60°C to 200°C, has excellent tear strength (≥35kN/m), and resists ozone, UV radiation, acid, and alkali exposure.

Typical Applications
Spring's cold shrink silicone tubing is suitable for:
Telecom base station RF jumpers and antenna connectors
Coaxial cable weatherproofing (e.g., 1/2", 7/8", etc.)
Fiber optic cable sealing and mid-span protection
Underground power cable and signal cable joints
Outdoor 5G equipment, remote radio heads (RRUs), and CATV connections
Low- and medium-voltage cable terminations
Moisture-proof sealing for electrical junctions in high-humidity or salt-mist environments
Whether you are sealing RF connectors on a cellular tower, protecting coaxial jumpers from UV and moisture, or waterproofing fiber optic terminal boxes, Spring Cold Shrink is your go-to solution.

Cold Shrink Tube Used in Mobile Communication Station Installation Instruction
NOTE:
Before installation, ensure there are no sharp edges or burrs on the connector or cable that could damage the cold shrink tube.
The recommended optimal storage life is 1 year.
Installation Steps:

1. Insert all the feeders into the cold shrink tubes. Ensure that the loose end and the arrow direction are positioned opposite to the joint before installation.
2. Tighten all the joints between the jumpers and the RRU using a spanner. The recommended torque is approximately 1 N·m.
3 . Slide the cold shrink tube over the connection until the edge of the rubber tube (not the plastic core) touches the connector receptacle. Then, pull out the supporting string in an anticlockwise direction.
4 . After installation is complete, remove the label. Repeat Step 3 to ensure all jumper connections are fully covered.
Transportation & Storage Guidelines
Transportation: Made from eco-friendly, non-toxic silicone rubber; suitable for road, sea, and air transport.
Storage Conditions:
Recommended temperature: -10°C to 40°C
Relative humidity: <75%
Shelf life: 12 months
Store off the ground on pallets or racks to avoid moisture damage.
Do not stack more than 7 cartons high to ensure safety.
